PART TIME CONTRACTOR
Junior Publicist
PART TIME CONTRACTORAs Junior Publicist, your primary role will be to execute strategy as directed by the senior team, dominate local media relations and maintain operations. In this role, you will have every opportunity to learn public relations, with no ceiling to what you can achieve.
The Role
• Draft press documents, draft and maintain content calendars
• Coordinate press and influencer mailings
• Fulfill press requests for product, images and information; assist with photo shoots
• Conduct research including media lists, pitch opportunities, partners, resources, more
• Monitor for press coverage and prep reports to clients
• Maintain internal agency lists
• Schedule meetings, draft agendas, take meeting notes
• Manage guest communication and experience execution at events
The Ideal Candidate
1-2 years experience in PR, interested in learning the industry at a deeper level
Highly communicative and collaborative
Optimistic, solutions-oriented, hustles with a smile
Extremely organized with strong follow-through
Interested in client portfolio and feels responsible in performing well for them
Thrives when handling multiple simultaneous projects
Professional communicator and writer
Understands and respects journalism
Can roll with the fast-paced, slightly unpredictable development of a young business
Very detail-oriented and organized; cares about proper execution of tasks, accurate reporting, and tracking data
Learns quickly because we move fast!
